About Me
Andy “Pick” Pickering grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains on a 5 acre property. A love of the outdoors, nature and a connection to the land and home was cemented at a young age as it was filled with fishing, hiking and camping. After high school, Andy attended the United States Air Force Academy where he was selected to be a pilot in the United States Air Force upon graduation. He flew many airframes over his career to include the C-21A, MC-130J and the HC-130J. Andy had a distinguished career in the USAF to include multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan to name a few. His career included assignments in Germany, New Mexico, and the United Kingdom. Andy continues to serve as a pilot in the California Air National Guard supporting State and Federal missions part time.
Andy’s extensive travel, even to some of the world’s harshest locations, only furthered his love of the outdoors and an appreciation for the uniqueness of every piece of property. This eventually led him to the world of real estate and California Outdoor Properties. He believes that a connection to the land is what truly makes property ownership special. He prides himself on trust, attention to detail, and always putting his client’s interests first. Andy currently resides in Pacifica, CA in the beautiful BOV.
